Where Seldom is Heard

Share on Facebookshare on TumblrTweet about this on Twitter

Tucked away in the Golan Heights, about one mile from the ceasefire line between Israel and Syria, resides a collective farming community called Yonatan Ranch.

Israel captured the Golan Heights from Syria in 1967 and annexed the territory in 1981, a move that is not recognized internationally.

Where Seldom is Heard is a story about character, life, death, friendship, and the oddities and eccentricities of an Israeli ranch and its volcanic rocky plateau.
