Keep Me Satisfied
documents the lives of Razoreater, a rising sludge/grind-metal band from Peterborough; a small, outdated and run down city in the East of England. Over a period of two years I spent my time photographing them in their homes, at work, at shows and on tours throughout the UK and Europe. The work embodies the adventurism of youth and the innate need to explore. Keep Me Satisfied establishes a heartening visual commentary on the values and tireless positivity of a group attempting to escape their ties to a dead end city. The photographs contrast the high energy, high impact nature of their shows against the quiet and somewhat playful exploration of the lands they find themselves in.
