It’s Spring, I’m Alone

When Spring arrives in Melbourne everyone gets together and heads outside into the sun. Parks fill, beaches swell, sun drenches and people laugh. Which makes the time we spend alone that much more noticeable and weird. Even among a country coming alive some of us are still waiting, turbulently.

These photographs capture the ways that Spring is lonely; that colours are harsh, that frustration rises and falls and that isolation can be colourful and beautiful.
